i've been watching that recently. i'm up to episode 8 if i remember correctly. it's a cooking show obviously.. can't you tell from the title? anyways, there are three judges.. and they are:
1. George Calombaris
His flagship Melbourne restaurant, The Press Club, was recently awarded The Age Good Food Guide 'Best New Restaurant 2008' with George named 'Chef of the Year 2008'.
2. Gary Mehigan - chef
With his award-winning establishments, Fenix and Maribyrnong Boathouse, among some of the finest dining experiences in Melbourne, Gary's credentials command attention.
3. Matt Preston - food critic
Matt has a swag of prestigious awards to his name, including the World's Best Food Journalist 2008 (World Food Media Awards)
the most recent one i watched was a challenge between one amateur chef, Sam and chef Manu Feildel. Manu Feildel is so awesome and funny.. he's such a great chef. i've seen him cook on Ready Steady Cook a few times and he's my favourite chef on that show. hahahhaa!
Feildel's great grandfather was a pastry chef. His
grandfather and father were also chefs. He has an uncle who is a charcuterie,
and a cousin who also is a chef. Despite this strong influence, Manu initially
chose to join an amateur circus school. However at 15, he began an
apprenticeship in his father's restaurant. After a year, he completed his
apprenticeship in a fine dining restaurant, before he headed to the UK.
